Sip, paint, and honor Native American heritage at this immersive art experience!

Join us for a captivating evening of creativity and culture at "Indigenous Artistry: Sip & Paint in Celebration of Native American Heritage." This immersive art experience is designed to honor and celebrate the rich traditions of Native American culture.

Led by the talented Artbae instructor, Kat Smith, participants will embark on a creative journey to produce their own mixed media masterpieces. Using natural elements such as feathers, sand, and rocks, you'll learn to blend traditional techniques with personal expression. We encourage you to bring along any natural materials you'd like to repurpose, making your artwork uniquely yours!

To enhance your evening, enjoy the beautiful artistry of Henna by Tissa, who will be on hand to add a cultural touch to your experience.

This event is not only a chance to create, but also a meaningful opportunity to connect with others in the community while honoring Native American heritage. Don't miss out on this enriching and inspiring experience—reserve your spot today!

We look forward to celebrating with you!

I am a native Washingtonian with an affinity for Art in it’s many forms and expressions.    I was exposed to a myriad of art forms at a very young age and throughout my life.   I believe that life is art.  I am influenced by daily experiences and human interactions, rolling through a beautiful patch of foliage while riding my bike, looking up an seeing a bright beautiful sky...simple things that remind me that I am still here.   The pieces that I create are an expression of my love affair with life!  Every piece is made with positive energy, good will and a genuine appreciation for the Art of Living.

Art Description

I use different mediums in my work to include canvas painting, fluid art, textured art, refurbished furniture pieces and wood work.
