A Special Day for Sharing a Fertile Space Where the Arts and Nature Flourish
Curated by PGAHC's Arts in Education Program and in celebration of National Arts and Humanities Month, Oasis for the Arts is a unique community arts celebration with environmentally responsive activities hosted at the Patuxent Riverkeeper’s House in Upper Marlboro, MD. This event is purposed to highlight the artistic talent in South County, honor its history, land, and vast waterways that are treasures we must appreciate and preserve.
We invite you to join us in celebration as we merge art and nature to raise the conversation around environmental change in Prince George’s County, contribute to South County’s new public art project, and celebrate the its rich indigenous culture, fellowship with the community and learn more about the historic waterways and how we can positively impact its environment.
