Last year, the Office of the Poet Laureate established a volunteer poetry group named The Literary Leaders of Prince George's County (Literary Leaders), which will partner with The Voices of Woodlawn and The Office of the Poet Laureate to present a virtual National Arts & Humanities Month (NAHM) event. Maryland State Poet Laureate, Grace Cavalieri will be the Special Guest Poet. The event, tentatively titled "Turning The Page" will take place on Zoom from 2:30 - 4:00 PM, EDT on Sunday, October 30.
