Immerse yourself in the dynamic world of costume design and sustainable fashion within the film industry as we honor up and coming designers and the creative visionaries who bring characters to life through their artful designs.

Program Includes:

  • Kick off the evening with a screening of Proclamation Punctuation - a captivating award-winning fashion film by Sewra G Kidane.

  • Engage in a thought-provoking talkback with film producer & director, Sewra G Kidane and esteemed professor, costume designer, casting director, and fashion industry expert Maggy François.

  • Learn more about DPARK 3311 and the Designer in Residence (DIR) program presented by it's founder, CEO and Chief Curator, Rhonda Dallas.

  • Enjoy the fashion industry panel featuring creatives & fashion designers Allison Elizabeth Brown, Ikonic Parlay, Nakya Duff, Carolyn Wilbourn and Cee Bleu, moderated by Ashanti Brown-Daniels & Maggy François.

  • Conclude the night with an exciting fashion presentation, showcasing designs from Cee Bleu, Carolyn Wilbourn, and the talented participants of the DPARK Designer In Residence Cohort II: Chief Bentil, David Andre, Ja’Dyn Hewan, Kischenna Coley, Maya Johnson, and Nakya Duff.
