2023 Festival of Literary Arts Poetry: Making a Change, Making a Difference

In celebration of National Poetry Month, PGAHC hosted its 2023 Festival of Literary Arts event, Poetry: Making a Change, Making a Difference. It was beautiful afternoon of powerful words and meaningful connections as we celebrated the impact that poetry can have on our communities. Hosted by the inaugural Prince George's County Poet Laureate, Sistah Joy, our open mic event welcomed all poets and spoken word artists that took the stage and shared their work, using their voices to inspire change and make a difference in the world.
