Prince George’s County native Myles Frost wins Best Actor in a Musical at the 2022 Tony Awards

We are so proud to announce that Bowie State University student and Prince George’s County native Myles Frost has won the 2022 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Michael Jackson in MJ: the Musical! Myles is officially the youngest performer to win best leading man in a musical on his own.

In March, we had the honor of bringing a group of County residents, including 45 BSU students, to NYC to experience Myles’ stellar performance on Broadway in partnership with Bowie State University! He captivated our audience with his transformation into the King of Pop, and with his introspective and eloquent analysis of himself and his process.
